NWEC Spring Gathering and Annual General Meeting Sat 17 September

It’s time again for our Annual General Meeting and Spring Gathering, to be held at 235 Ironcliffe Road, Penguin.

The AGM will commence at 10am on Saturday 17 September, followed by a delicious lunch of freshly cooked pizzas from our wood-fired pizza oven, along with salads, sweets and hot or cold drinks.

You must be a current member to nominate or vote for the committee. However, if your membership is not current, you may pay before the AGM and this payment will carry you through until the end of 2017. Fees are unchanged and remain as follows:

Single membership – waged $10, unwaged $5

Family membership – waged $15, unwaged $10

Please consider whether you would like to be a part of the decision-making body for your North West Environment Centre. We are planning a new format for next year’s festival, with a new venue and a wider range of stalls and activities. We are also undergoing a process of rejuvenation at the Community Garden; a new project is providing up to 50 raised garden beds made from repurposed fruit crates, with wheelchair access between each row.
